Position Summary

The Digital Product Manager is responsible for the management, maintenance, functionality, and growth of all His Glory digital properties, including websites, mobile applications, and OTT streaming platforms. This individual serves as the primary owner of the digital ecosystem and is accountable for ensuring all content, media assets, user experiences, and platform functionality are accurate, current, and operating effectively.

This role combines digital product management, website administration, content publishing, quality assurance, and vendor coordination. The Digital Product Manager works closely with Production, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership to ensure His Glory's digital platforms effectively support the ministry's mission of reaching souls through media and technology.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Platform Ownership

  • Serve as the primary owner of all His Glory digital properties, including:
    • Websites
    • Mobile applications
    • OTT streaming applications
  • Maintain consistency, functionality, branding, and user experience across all digital platforms.
  • Develop and manage the roadmap for platform improvements and enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve audience engagement, user experience, retention, and conversion.

Website Administration & Development

  • Perform routine website administration, content publishing, page creation, and platform maintenance.
  • Create and update landing pages, promotional pages, show pages, and website content as needed.
  • Manage menus, navigation, forms, integrations, and website functionality.
  • Troubleshoot website issues and coordinate resolution.
  • Coordinate with third-party developers and technology partners for advanced development projects, integrations, and technical enhancements.
  • Assist with testing and deployment of new website features and functionality.

Content & Media Management

  • Ensure all website, mobile app, and OTT content is accurate, current, and functioning properly.
  • Oversee the publishing and maintenance of all digital media content.
  • Ensure all shows, episodes, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, dates, categories, and metadata are uploaded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an organized and complete digital media library.
  • Verify all media content is properly displayed and accessible across web, mobile, and OTT platforms.

Quality Assurance & User Experience

  • Conduct routine audits and quality control checks across all digital properties.
  • Monitor for broken links, missing content, playback issues, display issues, and user experience concerns.
  • Ensure forms, subscriptions, memberships, video players, and integrations are functioning properly.
  • Test updates and new content before publication.
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and presentation across all digital channels.

Vendor & Technology Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for website, app, OTT, and technology vendors.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting, enhancements, and support requests.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure vendors meet deliverables and deadlines.
  • Evaluate new tools, technologies, and platform improvements.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor website, app, and OTT performance metrics.
  • Track user engagement, content performance, and platform usage.
  • Provide recommendations and reporting to leadership regarding platform improvements and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing websites, digital platforms, mobile applications, or OTT platforms.
  • Working knowledge of website administration and content management systems.
  • Ability to create and update website pages and digital content.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects, vendors, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Alignment with the mission and values of His Glory.

Success Measures

  • All digital properties remain functional, accurate, and up to date.
  • Media content is uploaded correctly and on schedule.
  • Website, mobile app, and OTT platforms provide a seamless user experience.
